Black interior and exterior doors are definitely on trend and having a major design moment in 2017. Painting doors black is a nice way to add a statement and layer of depth to your home. They are a timeless look to adorn any space, especially when you pair them with brass hardware!

I recently worked on a condo in West Hollywood and we installed beautiful wide plank oak floors, white walls, and brass accents. To give the space more interest and add a chic element we painted all the interior doors in a low sheen off-black color. The result turned out great and added the perfect amount of interest & framed out the space nicely. Using black interior doors is a great way to draw the eye up and create an illusion of extra height, especially if you have ceilings that are low or standard 8 feet high.
